Bayat, Sareh (born October 6, 1979, Tehran)

Bayat received a Diploma of Honor for Best Actress from Tehran's Police Theatre Festival in 2001. She made her stage debut in 2002.

She graduated from ‘Karnameh’ institute of Arts and Culture's School of Cinematic Arts before being chosen for a role in the series ‘A Bunch of Eagle Feathers’ (2005). She later made her film debut in ‘Satan’s Follower’.

She has starred in many films including ‘Lamp 100’ (2013), ‘The Resident of the Middle Floor’ (2013), ‘Nahid’ (2014), ‘Muhammad: The Messenger of God’ (2013) and ‘The Lady’ (2015).

Bayat has also appeared in series ‘A Bunch of Eagle Feathers’ (2005), ‘The Innocent Ones’ (2008) and ‘The Ruin’ (2014).

She shared the 2011 Berlin International Film Festival's Silver Bear for Best Actress with Leila Hatami and Sarina Farhadi for ‘A Separation’ (2011).

Bayat was nominated for the Best actress in a Leading Role award for her appearance in ‘We Don’t Get Used To’ (2015) at the 34th edition of Fajr Film Festival.
