Farjad, Jalil (born March 8, 1952, Marand)
Jalil Farjad studied Acting and Directing in the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (presently named Faculty of Cinema and Theatre, Tehran University of Arts). He is the father of the Iranian actresses, Mona and Maral Farjad.
In 1975, he began his acting career in the theatre. His debut movie was 'Penitentiary' (1982).
Farjad has appeared in a great number of movies, including ' The Night of Retribution' (1984), ' On the Wings of Angels' (1992), ' The Alley and the Museum' (1994) and ' The Wedding Rings' (2009).
He has starred in the TV series 'A House in the Dark' (2003), ‘Common Cuckoo’ (2014) and ‘Marooned in The Arvand River’ (2013).
In his artisan career path, Farjad has also worked as a director and producer.
