Bahram, Pantea (born March 4, 1969, Tehran)

Pantea Bahram has studied acting in the school of Arts and Literature at the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting College.

In 1988, she appeared in her first play and continued her academic education in performance literature.

Her powerful role in the series ‘The Passenger’ (1999-2000) brought her nationwide fame.

Bahram has taken part in a number of series, including ‘The Mirror’ (1985-1987), ‘The Young Officer’ (2001), ‘Under the Vestibule’ (2010), and ‘The Warped Interpretation of a Dream’(2015).

She has also appeared in several movies, including ‘The Beautiful and the Hideous’ (1998), ‘Sunglasses’ (1999), ‘The Attorney’ (2000), ‘Tokyo, Non-stop’ (2002), ‘Eqlima’ (2006), ‘Nothing’ (2009), ‘Persisting Dreams’ (2010), ‘I'm a Mother’ (2010), ‘Horses Are Noble Animals’ (2010), ‘Without Reason or Cause’ (2011), ‘Tragedy’ (2013), ‘Sensitive Level’ (2013), and ‘Binam Alley’ (2014).

Bahram has received numerous awards from different theater festivals.

She was nominated for an Iran Cinema Celebration Award in 2007 for ‘Forever Young’ (2006).

She received a Diploma of Honor and Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Fajr International Film Festival for her role in ‘Bright Day’ (2012).
