'I’ll appear on TV series again'
Appearing in Iranian TV series is a great experience to be realized with offering good roles, Iran actress Mahtab Keramati says in an iFilm interview.
Popular Iranian actress Keramati said, “The experience of working for television is so great and she would definitely accept to play series again in case of receiving good acting offers.”
Being a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Keramati also believes that her presence in UNICEF made her to come to a different point of view on social activities.
Mahtab Keramati Sheikholeslami holds a BS degree in Microbiology from the Islamic Azad University. She was taking acting courses when she was chosen for the role of Helen in 'The Men of Angelos' (1997).
She found fame with this series and appeared in films such as 'Mummy III' (1999) and 'The Rain Man' (1999) for which she was nominated for a Fajr International Film Festival Crystal Simorgh.
She then appeared in dramas such as 'Saint Mary' (2000) and 'Crimson Soil' (2001) and the films 'Hell, Purgatory, Heaven' (2008), 'There Are Things You Don’t Know', 'Alzheimer’s' (2010) and 'The Private Life of Mr. And Mrs. M' (2011).
She won a Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for '20' (2008).
In 2006, she was appointed as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in Iran.
