Setareh Eskandari has taken home the Best Actress award of the Redline International Film Festival in Canada.
The actress was awarded for her role in Ashkan Masti's first directing experience 'Chemical'.
A brief synopsis of the flick reads, 'Don't be scared; if you could proceed this much, you'd be able to stand the rest too. A little patience and the night would be over...'
The other cast members of the flick are Sina Karami, Sheida Khaligh, Amir Qasemi and Amir-Hossein Asefi.
'Redline International Film Festival is currently a monthly short film festival and competition based in Toronto, Canada; The goal for the event is to reward and promote the best of the world’s indie short films', a page on the event's website reads.
