‘Alphabet’ to compete at Still Voices Film Festival

Iran animation ‘Alphabet’ is to be screened at the Still Voices Short Film Festival in Ireland.

Iran animation ‘Alphabet’ has been scheduled to be screened at the 4th edition of Still Voices Short Film Festival in Ireland.

Alphabet is a 3D animation produced in late 2017. The 6-minute animated piece depicts a nation that has forgotten the alphabet of living. They cannot see, cannot hear, and cannot speak, but the words are waiting for them eagerly.

“According to my observation, humans are moving away from their true selves with each passing day. The animation is for adults,” Abedi said about the story of his work.

Established in 2014, Still Voices Short Film Festival is an International Short Film event located in the heart of the Irish midlands of Ballymahon, Longford.

The 2018 edition of the event is slated for October 16-19.
