Iran short film director Javad Daraei is set to serve as juror for the 12th Reel Youth Film Festival in Canada.
The festival will be run online while the films will be sent to jurors to make their choices from over 1,300 Reel Youth Film Festival submissions.
Daraei is an Iranian short film director whose previous short 'Limit' brought him international acclaim.
Daraei's ‘Limit’ has nailed top titles from US-based film events, including Hollywood Hills Awards, Tryon Int'l Film Festival and Bleedingham Horror Short Film Festival, as well as Best Fiction award at Southampton Film Week 2017 in the UK.
The Reel Youth Film Festival screens short films made by young people under 20 with the aim to empower young artists to express their creativity and share their visions for a more just and sustainable world.
The 12th round of the festival will take place on September 2018 in Canadian city of Vancouver.
