Iran short film 'Alan' has been set to screen at the 2018 Provinziale International Film Festival in Germany.
Directed by Mostafa Gandomkar, the film will compete with 13 other films at the competition for Short Feature Films section of the festival.
The 20-minute flick narrates the story of a Kurdish family in Syria a day before the ISIS attack turns their world upside down.
'Alan' has already screened in a number of international festivals and has won some awards including the first prize at the 14th edition of the Constance Short Film event in Germany.
According to the festival website, Provinziale International Film Festival consists of five competition sections short feature film, animation film, long documentary film and short documentary film.
The 15th edition of the film event is slated for October 7-14, 2018 in the city of Eberswalde in Germany.
