Iran animation 'Empty View' has made it into the screening list of 2018 London City Film Awards in UK.
Directed by Ali Zare-Qanatnowei, the animation feature narrates the story of an old woman looking for the return of her missing son from the battle ground of an imposed war.
'Empty View' was designed and produced during two years. It combines the 2D and 3D animation techniques for the first time in Iranian cinema on such scale.
The animation has so far screened in various international festivals including the 13th edition of the Athens Animfest in Greece.
London City Film Awards aims to gather talent not only from the United Kingdom, but from around the world.
The latest edition of the film event is slated for October 27, 2018.
