A lineup of Iran short films is to be screened at the 29th Istanbul International Short Film Festival.
As one of the age-old film festivals in Turkey, the event will host a batch of seven short films from Iran in its latest edition.
'Horn' by Qasideh Golmakani, 'Papital' by Narges Zakeri, 'Roof Knocking' by Sina Salimi, 'Bystander' by Sheyda Kashi, 'It Rains Slowly ' by Saeed Nejati and 'The Look ' by Shayan Naghibi will represent Iran at the festival.
The international section consists of only film screenings; there is no competition within this section.
Films are selected through a process of focused evaluation process from both the direct applications and also from the films provided by film centers of different countries.
These films are being presented to the audience with Turkish subtitles in three different theaters where the directors are ready for Q&A afterwards.
Istanbul International Short Film Festival is the longest running and most experienced organization among the international short film festivals in Turkey.
Through its one-week-course around 200 distinguished short films from Turkey and the world are screened to film lovers and experienced filmmakers, professionals share their experiences through Q&A's and workshops.
The event is scheduled for December 14-21, 2018 in the Turkish major city.
