The Directors Guild of America Award has announced 2019 nominees including first-time director Bradley Cooper.
The Gala announces full list of nominations for the upcoming film event’s top feature film award as Alfonso Cuaron for ‘Roma’, Bradley Cooper for ‘A Star Is Born’, Adam Mackay for ‘Vice’, Peter Farrelly for Green Book and Spike Lee for ‘BlacKkKlansman’.
At the first-time director’s section the list of nominees reads as Cooper for the same movie as mentioned earlier, Bo Burnham for ‘Eighth Grade’, Carlos Lopez Estrada for ‘Blindspotting’, Matthew Heineman for ‘A Private War’ and Boots Riley for ‘Sorry to Bother You’.
Bradley Cooper is a prolific American actor and director. As an actor, he has several Academy Awards nominations for movie ‘Silver Linings Playbook’, ‘American Sniper’ and ‘American Hustle’.
It should be mentioned that each director mentioned in the article has had a directorial team who have also been nominated to receive the award this year.
