Fajr filmfest competitor ‘6.5 per Meter’ directed by Saeed Roustaei has wrapped up shooting stage.
The film project ends filming while it is selected as one of the 22 movie titles to compete at the 37th edition of the most important Iranian film event, Fajr Film Festival, in some short days.
This cinematic work is a social drama that deals with the issue of drug taking and addiction.
Jamal Sadatian, the producer of the flick, has said to media that the story of the movie will take audiences to see a family dealing with the aftermath of taking drugs.
He also mentions that they would go out there and find real vagabond addicts to make their film convey its prophecy of showing how miserable people can become if they go for drugs.
‘6.5 per Meter’ is its young and talented director’s second major work. As Roustaei’s ‘Life and a Day’ was a big success, now there are great expectations for his new movie.
He and his team won a total number of 10 Crystal Simorgh awards from the 34th edition of Fajr Film festival.
