The seven-day US screening event has shortlisted Ronak Jafari’s ‘Double’ in Short Narratives section of its 2019 official selection.
‘Double’ revolves around two women who face several events on a rural road.
The cast list is made of Sahra Asadollahi, Banafsheh Araabi, Houman Rahnamoun, Toufan Mehrdadian, Alireza Pourhashem, Behnam Momeni, Shima Khazaei, Dorsa Abolfazli, and Amir Shahverdi.
Nabbing 2 nominations at North Europe Int’l Film Festival «Fusion» for Best Foreign Language Short Film as well as Best Makeup give only a brief resume of 'Double'.
The makeup design was performed by makeup artist Hadi Fekri.
The flick was also named among three best short films at the 40th edition of the Moscow International Film Festival.

It welcomes international and American narrative features and shorts, documentary features and shorts, animated features and shorts, student films, American and international trailers, webisodes, music videos, and feature-length and short-form screenplays.
The western U.S. state of California will host the event on March 22 – 28, 2019.
