Top-rated animated film ‘The Last Fiction’ by Ashkan Rahgozar has been turned into a mobile game.
Being one of the industry-leading animations in Iran cinema history, ‘The Last Fiction’ marked its debut as a mobile game under the title ‘The Divine Light’.
The game is made by Babak Arjmand and coproduced by Ehsan and Arman Rahgozar in 2D side-scrolling style.
‘The Last Fiction’ official smartphone game has been launched by Iran-based Hovarakhsh Studio.
It can be installed on smartphones and tablets operating with Android and IOS. The mobile game is made in fast-paced hack and slash mode that requires quick reactions.
The game release date is expected to be revealed soon.
The 120-minute-long animation is based on the story of 'Zahhak', a tale from an Iranian national epic "The Shahnameh" (Book of Kings), written by Iranian poet Abolqasem Ferdowsi.
‘The Last Fiction’ is to vie at the animation section of the 37th Fajr Film Festival as well as the main competition section of the 11th Tehran International Animation Festival (TIAF).
