The 12th International Short Film Festival for Children and Youth Berlin KUKI has announced call for entries.
As per the terms of entry, all animated films, short films, and documentaries under 20 minutes produced after January 1, 2017 are qualified to enter the event.
KUKI screens movies for children of age 4 to 12+ in four categories of “Competition Programs for Children”, “TeenScreen Competition Programs for Youth”, “Special Program for Children” and “TeenScreen Special Programs for Youth”.
The festival also provide advanced training event for educators and student teachers under the name “Media Education Workshop for Teachers”.
Applicants can fill out the submission form online at www.kuki-berlin.com till May 13, 2019.
KUKI, the International Short Film Festival for Children and Youth Berlin, has been campaigning for a diversity of perspectives since 2008.
As noted down by the official website of the festival, the films “deal with uncomfortable topics and raise questions, but they also inspire confidence and compassion, radiate joy and candidly tell of life’s difficult hurdles and significant triumphs.”
The 12th round of the event is slated to take place on November 17-24, 2019.
