Directed by Mohammad Towrivarian, ‘Flying Fishes’ has won the Best Film award at the VKRATZE international film festival in Russia.
The short is about a teacher who is new to a village. He notices that the only girl in his class does not talk and has cigarette burn on her skin.
The selected shorts of the festival were screened in cinemas, universities and schools of the Russian city of Volgograd.
The VKRATZE has been held in Volgograd since 2013. Short films from all over the world participate in this festival.
The seventh edition of the VKRATZE was held on April 8-14 in Volgograd.
