Iranian Indian joint production ‘The Devil’s Daughter’ has secured an Eid al-Fitr screening slot.
Directed by Qorban Mohammadpour, the film which is a sequel to the director’s ‘Salaam Mumbai’ will premiere in Iranian cinemas on June 6, 2019 which coincides with Eid al-Fitr that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
The film narrates the story of the devil’s daughter that comes to earth to find a way to make up for what her father has done. She is seeking for God’s forgiveness.
Hamid Farrokh-Nejad, the Iranian star of the film, is no stranger to ifilm viewers as he has played in a number of the series and films aired by the channel including ‘The Green Ring’ and ‘Days of Life’.
The Indian star of the film is Esha Gupta who plays the role of the devil’s daughter.
Some other casts of the movie include Indian movie stars Dalip Tahil, Simran Mishrikoti and Shaili Mahmoudi.
