Academy Award winner Robert De Niro has expressed remarks against US president Donald Trump, wishing that he could be wiped out from the world memory.
Robert De Niro who is the co-founder of Tribeca film festival slammed the US president Donald Trump on the closing ceremony of the festival wishing to see the world without him.
In the film, “The world wakes up and has never heard of The Beatles,” De Niro told the crowd before the screening began. "It made me sad but it gave me an idea for another film, one in which the world wakes up and has never heard of Trump. That would be a film that would make us all really happy," USA Today reported.
After hearing this comment from the veteran actor, the crowd who had attended Tribeca Film Festival applauded him enthusiastically.
Robert De Niro is an American actor, producer, and director. He is a recipient of various accolades, including two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, the Cecil B DeMille Award, AFI Life Achievement Award, Presidential Medal of Freedom, and has been nominated for six BAFTA Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards and four Screen Actors Guild Awards.
