The 2019 edition of the CEFALU Film Festival in Italy has set to screen Iran’s short ‘Pittikh’.
According to Iranian Youth Cinema Society, ‘Pittikh’ will participate at the fourth edition of the Italian event.
Written and directed by Sasan Khanalizadeh, the film tells the story of a child from a poor family whose father has to work as a waste collector in order to afford his family’s needs.
The participation in the CEFALU will mark the film’s second international appearance.
‘Pittikh’ was produced by Meshgin Shahr Youth Cinema Society, with Majid Mehdi being the film’s cinematographer.
The CEFALU Film Festival will take place on June 1-December 31, 2019.
