Iranian short ‘I am Zal’ (I am albino) has made it to the 2019 edition of the CEFALU Film Festival in Italy.
Written and directed by Houman Naderi, ‘I am Zal’ will participate at the 4th edition of the CEFALU.
‘I am Zal’ tells the story of a boy with Albinism who is supposed to play the role of a legendary character in a school play, but his mother just like last time punishes him and wants to stop him from taking part in the show.
The boy’s teachers notice that he has been beaten once again, but this time they stand up against his mother.
‘I am Zal’ was named the Best Film at the 14th edition of the Indonesian Film Festival in Australia.
The CEFALU Film Festival will reportedly kick off on June 1, 2019.
