Iranian play ‘IRock’ is to compete at Italy’s TACT festival in the city of Trieste.
Directed by Mohammad Niazi and produced by Masoud Hokmabadi, the play ‘IRock’ has been accepted to vie at TACT international Festival in the Italian city of Trieste.
‘IRock’ narrates the story of a famous radio reporter who hosts a strange radio game show to find his old beloved among the competitors.
Eight plays from Italy, Russia, France, Serbia, and Iran will compete at the festival. There will also be some workshops for the attendees.
TACT festival aims to bring together young people from around the world and provide them with an opportunity to meet and exchange their experiences.
‘IRock’ will go on stage on the third day of the festival (June 11). The play was previously staged in Mashhad and Tehran, two major cities of Iran, and was welcomed by the audience.
The sixth edition of the festival is slated for June 9-16, 2019.
