Iran film ‘Night of the Full Moon’ reveals behind-the-scenes footage.
Directed by Narges Abyar, the movie ‘Night of the Full Moon’ has released behind-the-scenes footage.
The movie has been filmed in various locations such as Tehran and Sistan and Baluchestan Provinces of Iran and the countries of Bangladesh and Pakistan.
The weather condition was almost intolerable and the cast and crew went through huge hardships during filming. The temperature reached 60 degrees and the humidity was 80 percent at the time.
‘Night of the Full Moon’ narrates the bitter story of Faezeh, a young girl who lives in the southern parts of Tehran (the capital of Iran). The girl marries Abdolhamid who has fallen in love with her. The couple for some reasons has to emigrate from Iran and they are accompanied by Faezeh’s brother who is dreaming a new life in another country. But, some unexpected incidents happen to the characters and they go through a lot of difficulties.
So far, the top grosser has succeeded to sell 114,979,310,000 Rials at the Iranian domestic box office.
The movie was candidate in 13 sections of the 37th Fajr Film Festival and garnered as many as six main Awards of the event, including Best Director, Best Film, Best Leading Actor (Houtan Shakiba), Best Leading Actress (Elnaz Shakerdoust), Best Supporting Actress (Fereshteh Sadr-Orafaee), and Best Makeup (Iman Omidvari).
