Iran documentary ‘Finding Farideh’ has been scheduled to attend the 19th edition of Flahertiana Film Festival in Russia.
Directed by Azadeh Mousavi and Kourosh Ataee , the flick is to attend the competition section of the event.
'Finding Farideh' story begins with a newspaper report which read a young woman who was adopted by a Dutch family, looking for her biological parents.
The first edition of the Flahertiana Film Festival was held in 1995 and until 2006 it was held once in two years. That time it was more like a theoretic workshop, not competition.
Since 2006 the festival officially became annual international documentary film festival with international competition jury.
The 19th edition of the event is slated for September 20-26, 2019.
