Directed by Mosayyeb Hanaee, the short film ‘Before Darkness’ has been set to compete at the MIKROFAF international film festival in Serbia.
Hanaee’s short narrates the story of an Afghan woman who has to cross Iran’s border with her child, but she has no money to afford smuggling fees.
MIKROFAF is a non-profit organization that is founded to fight prejudices and discrimination through the art of film.
The fest aims to educate through festivals, seminars, and workshops.
This four-day festival will be held on October 10-13.
