Israel filmmaker Daniel Syrkin has started making eight-part international espionage thriller ‘Tehran’ themed on demonizing Iran.
Set in Iran, the drama with a working title produced for Israeli network KAN tells the story of a Mossad agent undertaking her first mission in Iran. Tasked with disabling an Iranian nuclear reactor, her mission deviates from where it took off.
Niv Sultan is an Israeli actress playing the lead role in the series running for 60 minutes. Syrkin said of the actress, “We are very excited to have the exceptionally talented, and fast-rising actress Niv Sultan take her first international lead series role in Tehran.”
Two actors Shaun Toub and Navid Negahban of Iranian descent are among the cast.
Cineflix Rights has acquired international rights to Israel espionage thriller created by Moshe Zonder and Dana Eden and Maor Kohn.
