Iran’s successful short film ‘Exam’ has been selected to compete at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival in the US.
Directed by Sonia Haddad, ‘Exam’ is the story of a teenage girl who delivers a package of illegal drug to a client and gets caught in a weird cycle of events.
The short film has participated at several international festivals and grabbed some awards, including the AFI fest award which made the title qualified for the short film category of the Oscars 2021.
Held every winter, the Sundance fest becomes a gathering for all the enthusiasts of original storytellers, fresh voices and new perspectives.
The 2020 Sundance Film Festival will take place from January 23 to February 2, 2020.
