Iranian short film ‘Exam’ is slated to vie at the Fajr Film Festival.
The film directed by Sonia Haddad, will be one of the competing films at the short films section of the event.
‘Exam’ is the story of a teenage girl who delivers a package of illegal drug to a client and gets caught in a weird cycle of events.
The short film has participated at several international festivals and grabbed some awards, including the AFI fest award which made the title qualified for the short film category of the Oscars 2021.
Established in 1982, the FFF is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.Since its establishment, the FFF has played a vital role in the development of the Iranian Cinema.
Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.
The 38th FFF is set to kick off on February 1, 2020 and will run till February 11 in Tehran.
