ifilm star Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia has spoken Indian in the movie ‘The Devil’s Daughter’.

Directed by Qorban Mohammadpour, the film is the second collaboration of the director with Indian cinema after ‘Salaam Mumbai’.

‘The Devil’s Daughter’ narrates the story of the devil’s daughter that seeking for God’s forgiveness comes to earth to find a way to make up for what her father has done.

Trying to find a medium to compensate for her dad’s wrongdoings, she finds a man who must help her.

The man’s role is brought to life by Hamid Farrokh-Nejad, who is no stranger to ifilm viewers as he has played in a number of series and movies aired by the channel.

Some Indian stars of the movie include Dalip Tahil, Simran Mishrikoti and Shaili Mahmoudi. Indian star Esha Gupta plays the role of the devil’s daughter.

Sporting a new look including a long beard, Iranian actor Sharifinia has played the role of a Daesh member in ‘The Devil's Daughter’.

Born in 1955, Sharifinia was born in a village near Khorasgan, Isfahan.

He has a BA in Physical Education. He began his career with minor roles, but after appearing in Imam Ali (PBUH) (1991) series he found a nation-wide fame.

Since then he has appeared in over 50 movies such as 'Pari', 'Minoo Tower', 'Sheida', 'Love Isn't Enough', 'Sweet Jam', 'Donya', 'The Fifth Reaction', 'Season Salad', 'Marriage Iranian Style', 'The Outcast', 'The Outcast 2', 'The Outcast 3',  'Who Killed Amir?', 'Tambourine', 'Women are Angels', 'A Tiny Mistake', 'Dissertation', 'The Backstreets of Shemroon', 'The Ascended', and 'What Men don't Know About Women'.

Sharifinia has also acted in series such as 'Neighbors', 'The Green Journey', 'A Message from the Afterlife', 'Era of Constitutional Revolution', 'Mokhtarnameh', 'Tabriz in Fog', 'Hereafter', 'A Friend's Share', 'Yalda', 'The Billionaire', 'Restless', and 'We are not Angels'.

Aside from acting, he has also dabbled in photography and worked as a casting director.

He was the assistant director of movies such as 'Snowman', 'Leila' and 'A Girl Named Tondar'.

In 2013, he won a Fajr International Film Festival Crystal Simorgh for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for 'Scandal'.
