The Int'l animation festival ANIMANIMA 2017, Serbia, awards Iranian animated film ‘Nobody’.
The 11th edition of the International animation festival ANIMANIMA 2017, Serbia, has awarded Iranian animation ‘Nobody’.
Directed by Elham Toroqi, the short animation won the Special Jury Award at the Serbian event.
The statement of the award for ‘Nobody’ reads: “Our Special Award of the Jury goes to a cinematographic jewel with a sad story, for precise elaborated views of cinematic means of expression, component with brilliant hand-drawn animation. A bitter sweet story about never giving up.”
Launched in 2007, ANIMANIMA is based on a concept comprising the international competition program, the review program including presentations of animators’ portraits, the school of animation, authors’ retrospective and presentations of animated films studios, as well as accompanying fringe programs (lectures, exhibitions, and multimedia events).
The 11th edition of ANIMANIMA was held on September 5-9, 2017, in the city of Čačak, Serbia.
