Famed filmmaker Michael Moore fires back at yet another folly from US President Donald Trump who called the documentarian’s one-man show a “total bomb.”
The filmmaker hit back on Sunday after president Trump dissed his Broadway show ‘The Terms of My Surrender’ and wrongly said it was 'forced' to close early.
After noticing the president’s tweet, in a series of messages, Moore defended his show telling his adversary, “You must have my smash hit of a Broadway show confused with your presidency -- which IS a total bomb and WILL indeed close early. NOT SAD!”
Moore also announced his show began in May and it would be on Broadway for a limited twelve-week run, and last week it finished the run.
The documentarian also hits outs at Trump, saying, “Today, 1 US service member was killed and 6 injured in our never-ending war in Afghanistan. You, our President,… is not even aware.”
Like many of President Trump’s tweets, the one lashing out at filmmaker Michael Moore seemed to come out of nowhere.
