The first official trailer of the Iranian movie ‘Israfil’ has been unveiled.

The first official trailer of Ida Panahandeh's ‘Israfil’ has been unveiled.

‘Israfil’ is the second feature film by Panahandeh. The drama deals with human challenges and needs.

“The girl who loves Behrouz will return. The dead will return to life,” the movie’s synopsis reads.

The movie features Pejman Bazeghi, Hedieh Tehrani, Merila Zarei and Hoda Zeinolabedin.

The music for the movie was composed by Majid Pousti and the sound effects were finalized by Iranian sound designer Hossein Aboulsedq.

The movie is to be screened at the 35th Fajr Film Festival in Tehran.

The organizers of the Fajr Film Festival announced they have recived the final copy of Aida Panahandeh’s latest movie.

In Islam, the word 'Israfil' refers to the angel who announces the Day of Resurrection by blowing into a horn.
