Iranian documentary 'Pale Blue' has won nom at Taiwan Int'l Film Festival (TIDF).
Directed by Arash Lahooti, 'Pale Blue' is to compete with 14 other docs from around the world at the International Competition section of the festival.
The flick reveals the life stories of four war-veterans of the 1980-88 Iraqi-imposed war on Iran who suffer from posttraumatic stress disorder. The four have spent a long time together.
'Pale Blue' won an award at the 10th International Documentary Filmfest, Cinema Verite.
The film was also handpicked to open the 35th Fajr International Film Festival in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
Founded in 1998, the Taiwan International Documentary Festival is one of the major professional platforms for documentaries in Asia.
TIDF is a biannual festival that presents a well-curated programme of more than 130 films, and includes festival-related public and educational programs, such as workshops, and exhibitions.
The 11th edition of Taiwan International Documentary Film Festival is slated for May 4-13, 2018.
