Rayegan, Masoud (born January 21, 1954, Khorramabad)
Masoud Rayegan started acting when he was a child and acted in various movies and TV productions in his 20s.
He graduated in Theater Directing from the Art University of Tehran; he has also studied at the Swedish Film Institute.
Living in Sweden, He starred in some TV series and cooperated with some art centers including International College, National Theater and Euro board Theater.
In 2001, He was invited to Iran to act in 'The Silence of the Sea' (2001). The next invitation lead to his acclaimed performance in 'So Close, So Far Away' (2006), which got him nominated for the Crystal Simorgh at the Fajr International Film Festival.
Rayegan has acted in series such as 'Zero Degree Turn' (2007), 'Shams-ol-Emareh' (2009), 'The Weary-Hearted' (2009), 'On the Way to Zayandeh-Rood' (2010), and 'Fall of an Angel' (2011).
He has also appeared in movies such as 'Café Setare' (2004), 'The Earring' (2006), 'Empty Hands' (2006), 'Trouble' (2007), 'Homeland' (2008), 'Hell, Purgatory, Heaven' (2008), 'Golchehreh' (2010), 'Kissing the Face of the Moon' (2011), 'Berlin Minus 7' (2013), and 'Mazar Sharif' (2014).
