‘Damascus Time’ Lebanese actor has paid a visit to Iran to attend several special screenings of the movie.

Joseph Salameh, the Lebanese actor who is starring as Abu Omar al-Shishani in Iranian director Ebrahim Hatamikia’s Daesh drama ‘Damascus Time’, has come to Iran to take part in several special screenings of the movie.

The flick is to go on the silver screen at Kurosh Cineplex in Tehran. Hadi Hejazifar, another leading actor of the movie, and Ebrahim Hatamikia the director of the movie are to accompany Joseph Salameh during the screenings.

‘Damascus Time’ revolves around security threats by terrorists when an Iranian plane, conveying humanitarian aid to Syria, is challenged in Damascus Airport.

Popular Iranian actors such as Babak Hamidiyan and Hadi Hejazifar as well as a number of actors from Syria and Lebanon are the movie's main cast.

‘Damascus Time’ has recently managed to grab some awards, including Crystal Simorgh for Best Director, at the latest edition of the Fajr Film Festival in Iran.
