President Hassan Rouhani has expressed condolence over the death of distinguished veteran Iranian actor Ezatollah Entezami.
Conveying his grief on the loss of Ezatollah Entezami on Friday, Rouhani said the death of the prominent veteran Iranian artist caused great grief and sorrow.
This popular actor, with his cinematic masterpieces, made remarkable and memorable efforts in the promotion of Iranian art, the president added.
Part of his message reads "I would like to express my heartfelt condolences over the great loss of Ezatollah Entezami to the family of the deceased, art community, as well as the Iranian nation and I wish patience and strong spirit for his family."
Entezami passed away on Friday morning August 17, 2018, in Tehran at his home, following a period of illness, at the age of 94.
