New film project 'Massachusetts' by Iran director Mohammad Hossein Latifi has been going through preproduction stage.
'Massachusetts' producer Hamid Etebarian has told local media that the preproduction has kicked off and it is soon to enter production stage.
He also added that 'Massachusetts' is a comic but not a comedy movie.
The flick has two leading actors in the cast along with one actress in the leading role.
Latifi's latest work narrates the life story of a woman with American-Iranian parents. She leaves Massachusetts to Iran for the first time in her life to chase after some crooks.
'Massachusetts' has been rewritten 3 times by Peyman Abbasi and is planned to be submitted to the 37th Fajr Film Festival to be held in Iran.
