Iran epic biopic series on the life stories of 'Prophet Moses (PBUH)' and 'Salman the Persian' are set to be filmed with cutting-edge technology.
The two series in the making by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) will be captured with the 8K resolution which is the latest in digital cinematography.
Hossein Koubechi, a production support assistant with IRIB's picture company, Sima Film, recently told local media that from now on, notable Iranian TV series are due to deploy 4K and 8K technologies.
Epic series 'Salman the Persian' focuses on the Prophet Muhammad’s Iranian companion Salman. Earlier, the director said the series is expected “to be made on the largest scale.”
The biopic series 'Prophet Moses (PBUH)' also depicts the life of a messenger in Abrahamic religions based on Quranic references.
In early February, a media report noted that ifilm popular star Mostafa Zamani will take the titular role in the series.
