The shooting for Iranian short film ‘L for Elvis’ has kicked off.
Directed by Sepideh Mirhosseini, the film started pre-production stage a few weeks ago.
The short flick is about one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century.
Iran actor Amir Zobdeh has appeared as Elvis Presley in Mirhosseini’s latest production.
Mirhosseini describes her film, which depicts a parallel love triangle, saying, “‘L for Elvis’ has no dialogue in which we tried to portray the story of mind, love, loyalty and defeat in a short time.”
She added that, “My inner concern was undoubtedly to portray the inner world of today's children.”
‘L for Evis’, as put by the director, is only an illustration of a small pain felt by children in their small world.
