Germany has set to host the 6th edition of the Iranian Film Festival in the city of Munich next month.
This year’s edition of the Iranian Film festival has focused on films made about the capital, Tehran.
The festival will screen documentaries about the history of Tehran and its architecture as well as short films about the culture of the city’s youth.
The upcoming edition of the event will be opened with ‘Scenes from the Life of a Detective’ directed by Alireza Rasoulinejad.
‘The Residents of One-way Street' (Ahali Khiaban-e Yek-Tarafeh) and ‘Tehran Sculptures' (Mojassamehay Tehran) are among the documentaries set to be displayed at the gala.
It will also feature Raha Faridi’s ‘Chicheka Lullaby’.
The event titled 'Iranisches Filmfestival' (meaning Iranian Film Festival in German language) will take place on July 12-14, 2019.
