In an ifilm exclusive report, the short film director Arian Vazir-Daftari has talked about the way he found his model of directing from the heart of ‘Not Yet’.

In a series of programs called The Haiku of Cinema, ifilm specifically deals with festival-honored short films and talks to the short film directors to determine the reasons behind their success.

The short film ‘Not Yet’ is among the best short films made by Arian Vazir-Daftari. So far, the flick has succeeded to grab lots of awards from different international film festivals.

In an interview conducted by ifilm, the short story director Arian Vazir-Daftari reveals the way that he conducted an ordinary experience to a strong narrative reflected in ‘Not Yet’.

Vazir-Daftari believes that one should deal with the new idea that comes to his mind in due time.

‘Not Yet’ is about Hasti who has just turned 21. She studies abroad and her parents in Iran want to congratulate her online.

Despite the distractions of her life abroad, Hasti has missed her old home in Iran. Meanwhile, her parents are intent on concealing their crumbling marriage.
