The Tehran International Short Film Festival in Iran has opened call for entries for its 36th edition.
The call for entries opened on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 and is set to be closed on August 23, 2019.
Fiction Films, documentaries, animated films as well as experimental films from Iran and other countries can participate at the event.
Applicants can register for the 2019 edition of the Iranian festival via iycs.ir.
The festival’s organizers stressed that the call for submissions will not be extended.
The films selected to participate at the event’s competition section will be announced in early autumn.
The Tehran International Short Film Festival, which is organized by Iranian Youth Cinema Society (IYCS), is one of the oldest short film festivals not only in Iran, but also in the region, according the event’s website.
The festival is a member of International Short Film Conference (ISFC).
The 36th edition of the Tehran International Short Film Festival will take place on November 10-15, 2019.
