Iranian short film ‘Pedovore’ is scheduled to vie at the UNCIPAR, International Short Film Festival in Argentina.
The short film directed by Mohammad Kart has entered the competition section of the Argentinean event.
‘Pedovore’ will represent Iran at the 41st edition of the festival.
The short flick is a social drama which zeros in on the issues of the youngsters dealing with problems like child labor, bad parenting or having no parents at all.
A brief synopsis of the film reads, ‘No one takes a child’s love seriously, while it is the purest. Nothing is as magnificent and robust as a kid’s love.’
The UNCIPAR aims to promote the genre of short film and introduce the achievements of the new talents. Besides screening the films, the fest holds workshops, debates and exhibitions for children.
The 41st UNCIPAR is slated for August 17-19 in the Argentinean city of Pinamar.
