‘Snorkel’ producer/ writer breaks open about his concerns joining the team.

In an ifilm exclusive interview, ‘Snorkel’ producer/ writer Ebrahim Asghari has broken open about his concerns joining the team.

With a career dating back to the early 1996s, Asghari has always had cinematic concerns on the Iran-Iraq 1980-1988 war, which is called “Sacred Defense” in Iran.

“Besides the diver martyrs and Sacred Defense Cinema as my main concerns, I have also had two other concerns. One was to make something for the diver martyrs because I think the most innocent and defenseless martyrs and warrior of Iran-Iraq war were the divers.”

Asghari refers to his obligation to pay homage to the 175 diver martyrs as a friend of his was also martyred, and adds, “I also had personal motivation. A close friend of mine was also a diver martyr so I always wanted to do something in this regard.”
