A giant puppets play titled ‘We Only Have One Earth’ has been performed in Sialk Hills of Kashan.
A total number of 45 actors/ puppeteers have moved the giant marionettes to form some theatrical scenes of the play directed by Hamid-Reza Ardalan.
The giant insects, birds, trees, snakes and human figures of the play moved to narrate the story of utopian life on earth where water, plants, soil and living creatures are lasting in time. There are some other beings who are to shatter the shangri-La and cast darkness and distress over the earth.
An angel descends and asks, “O’ the dwellers of earth, Do you have a place to live?”. The earth would be liberated again afterwards.
‘We Only Have One Earth’ was staged in the ancient Sialk Hills near the Iranian city of Kashan.
