Varna International Film Festival in Bulgaria is playing host to ‘Dayan’.
The film directed by Behrouz Nouranipour is representing Iran at the 27th ‘Love Is Folly’ International Film Festival in Varna, Bulgaria.
‘Dayan’ narrates the story of several women refugees who are left alone on the border as the result of the war with the Daesh terrorist group.
Nasser Babaeian, Abdullah Zavareh, and Bahar Maroufi are among the cast of the 84-minute film which was shot in Kurdish.
The IFF “Love is folly” is one of the most important art events for the life of the European cinema industry, the official website of the event wrote.
For over 26 years, the festival led by the ambition to broadcast the latest productions in the world of the seventh art, annually presents more than 90 films from both the Bulgarian and world film list.
The event is currently underway and will wrap up on September 1, 2019 in Bulgaria.
