Nima Javidi’s ‘The Warden’ has published footage of its visual special effects production.
The feature film that has found its way among the top-selling titles in Iranian box office has now unveiled some footage of its VFX development. In this video you will see how a non-existing building is complied from scratch all with the aid of technology.
The film that counts as Javidi’s second directorial experience after his most acclaimed flick ‘Melbourne’ narrates the story of a warden who has big hopes of promotion on his head. He has recently been assigned a mission to evacuate the prison and move the inmates into another facility.
Should he be able to accomplish his task to the fullest, he will be rewarded. A prisoner, however, has gone missing which might bring the warden shame and bring down his dreams of promotion.
‘The Warden’, that has recently been accepted to screen at the latest edition of BFI London Film Festival, has won a number of awards at the 21st edition of Iranian Cinema Celebration. Navid Mohammadzadeh who plays the starring role of the flick has grabbed the Best Actor award of the Iranian film event.
Javad Motavveri, the VFX producer of the flick, was also awarded at the film gala.
A new poster for the flick designed by Erfan Behkar has also been released.
