ifilm has set to screen ‘Guantanamo Prison’ movie Saturday evening.

Directed by Hassan Fathi, the film will hit the air at 22:00 GMT on Saturday evening September 14. It will be also repeated three times the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 all GMT times.

The socio-political movie has been an attempt to show the 21st century cold-blooded crimes against humanity. It shows the tortures that took place in Guantanamo prison in a time that such barbaric actions were the most censured by humanitarian organizations.

A brief synopsis for the film reads, “This is the story of a man being tortured in Guantanamo Prison”.

Fathi explained to the media that the hand-held cameras were used to capture the scene of this movie to convey the sense that the narrator of the story is a curious journalist seeking for showing the truth to the world.

The film was first aired on Iran national TV under the name of ‘Remember Your Dreams’. The screenplay for it has been written by Farhad Tohidi and Mehdi Homayounfar has been the producer.

The cast members of ‘Guantanamo Prison’ are all Lebanese actors.
