Directed by Mohammad-Mehdi Delkhasteh, the short film ‘It Rains for You’ has been selected to vie at Alter do Chão Film Festival in Brazil.

This is the fourth presence of the short at international festivals.

The short’s synopsis reads “the yellow leaves do not fall because of autumn; you are supposed to pass this alley, so they want to carpet your path … Sparrows do not sing out of habit, they are training to sing to welcome you”.

The short has been chosen from 1979 titles from 98 countries.

The festival provides an opportunity for people with different cultures to meet. The fest will hold various workshops of audiovisual and cultural production.
