Fereydoun Jeyrani’s ‘The Agitation’ has just announced the dates for its upcoming European tour.
The premiere will then continue in other European cities, including Amsterdam, Stockholm, Vienna, Gothenburg and London.
Iranian cinephiles in Germany will be also able to watch the film at movie theaters in the cities of Berlin, Hamburg, Hanover, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich.
Jeyrani, movie’s director, was to accompany Mahnaz Afshar for the screening of his movie. However, due to suffering a stroke, he will not be able to be in attendance.
Concurrent with the European premiere, the movie will also hit cinema halls in Iran.
‘The Agitation’ is about Bardia and Barbod, twin brothers who have always been in competition with each other since childhood.
Commenting on his movie, Jeyrani once said that ‘The Agitation’ is not realistic and social. It is a movie about love and crime…"
‘The Agitation’ went on screen at the 37th Fajr Film Festival in Iran and was received well by the audiences and critics.
CA-based Vision Films Company is in charge of the movie’s worldwide distribution.
