Public screening for Mostafa Kiaee’s latest feature, ‘Minstrel’, is set to begin next Wednesday.
Themed on live Iranian music, the film is a comedy drama which revolves around the life of a live music performer played by Parviz Parastouee.
Joining Parastouee will be award-winning actress Elnaz Shakerdoust, along with Mehran Ahmadi, Mohsen Kiaee, and a number of Turkish actors.
‘Minstrel’ is Kiaee’s seventh feature film, following his highly successful 2017 film ‘Istanbul Junction’ which was nominated for the 36th Fajr Film Festival’s Audience Award for Best Film.
Previous flicks by the award-winning filmmaker have appeared on ifilm including ‘Bulletproof’ and ‘Hotline’, with the former having been awarded Best Screenplay at the 30th Fajr Film Festival.
